Installation
Apple didn’t accept the app on its App Store, because it doesn’t and can’t fit all of their review guidelines. It is distributed through AltStore instead, an alternative app store. No jailbreak needed. All these steps are done from your iPhone.
In the EU since the Digital Markets Act and iOS 17.4, and in Japan since December 2025 and iOS 26.2, apps can come from alternative app stores. This is an official method, and the simplest one.
- Download and install AltStore PAL. If nothing happens, open this page in Safari rather than another browser or an in-app one (like links opened from Discord).
- Add furaffinity.app to AltStore. The link opens AltStore, where you tap Free to install the app.
- If you tapped Add to add only the source, find the app later in the Browse tab and install it. Enjoy!

Outside the EU and Japan, AltStore Classic installs the app with your Apple account. It needs a computer, and the app must be refreshed at least once a week, which AltStore does for you.
- Download and install AltStore Classic, and set it up for your computer and iPhone.
- From your iPhone, add furaffinity.app to AltStore. The link opens AltStore, where you tap Free to install the app.
- If you tapped Add to add only the source, find the app later in the Browse tab and install it. Enjoy!

Sideloading
The GitHub releases include the IPA file of each version, to sideload with your preferred tool. Developers can also build it from the sources with Xcode, available on the GitHub project page.

Install it from the APK file.
